Accountability in Action lies in the hands of civil society. We are the ones who must monitor the work of donors and governments and advocate for changes when changes are necessary.

Civil Society must also hold itself accountable. Too often HIV&AIDS advocates ignore VAW/G in their work. We must educate other advocates on the interconnectedness of HIV&AIDS and VAW/G and give them the information and tools they need to incorporate VAW/G into the work they do.
