Multilateral Donors

A multilateral donor or institution is an institution or agency with multiple participating nations or parties.

Most of the multilateral institutions that work on HIV&AIDS and/or VAW/G are part of the United Nations system. Three of the most prominent on these issues are UNAIDS , the World Bank , and the World Health Organization.

Outside of the United Nations system, the major multilateral institution working on HIV&AIDS or VAW/G is the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria .

Visit the page about each of these multilaterals for more information about their work on HIV&AIDS and/or VAW/G and opportunities to put accountability in action.
